Obituary Sis. Cecila Ann Black was born on July 27, 1945 in Chesterfield County. She departed this life on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at McLeod Hospital Systems in Florence, SC after an extended illness. Sis. Cecila was the daughter of the late Mr. Charlie and Mrs. Maggie Sellers of Patrick, SC. She attended the public schools of Chesterfield County. She was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ in 1972 and later received the Gift of the Holy Ghost and was a faithful member of The Church in the Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostles' Doctrine, Inc. Cecila will be lovingly remembered by her husband, her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, all her family and friends, including church members and members of the community. Sis. Cecila was employed in textile and manufacturing for over 20 years, however; her passion was that of a homemaker, giving friendly advice and praising God, the mighty God that she served. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Charlie and Mrs. Maggie Sellers, a son, Robert Lee, a brother; Charlie Sellers, Jr., her daughter-in law; Janice N. Black, and a grandson, Kenneth Ray Newborn, II. She leaves behind to cherish her memories: Her devoted husband, McArthur Black, Sr. of the home to whom she was married to for fifty-two years; Four sons, McArthur ( Sharon) Black, Jr. of Patrick; Tony Black, Christopher Black and Marcus A. Black, all of Patrick; Three daughters; Renee (Alton) Wright of Indian Trail, NC ; Shena V. (Marvin) Coakley of Effingham, SC and Tina Black (Anthony Walls) of Columbia, SC. She also leaves three brothers: Willie (Floree) Sellers, William Sellers, and Tyrone Hudley, all of Patrick; and six sisters; Mazie Wilkins, Mable (Carson) Marshall, Geraldine Marshall and Geneva Sellers, all of Patrick, Marie Eigner of Brooklyn NY, and Marguerite Brandon of El Paso TX . She leaves also fourteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, members of the community and a host of nieces, nephews and friends, including a large church family.
